We have an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for sport who is looking to use their skills and experience to support the coordination, administration and delivery of our 34 Team UoP student sports clubs and physical activity programmes. The role will play a key part in supporting the strategic growth and sustainability of each sports club's offer, which includes engagement, development and competition, with the aim of delivering the best possible student sporting experience.

As a Sports Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for particular areas of the sports club offer. Examples of responsibilities to be shared across the team of Sports Development Coordinators include; programming, finance processes, payments, events, campaigns, health and safety, bookings, affiliations, club development planning, committee recruitment, and transport. You will be the first point of contact to the students for these matters ensuring that the needs of the students are balanced with the needs of the wider team and university requirements.

We are seeking applications from individuals who are excellent communicators and organisers, who are able to work with student sports clubs to identify ways in which we can maintain and improve the experience of their members. The successful candidate must have the ability to work across a range of sports clubs and understand the positive impact that sport has in relation to student experience at University. The role requires a flexible and creative individual who is able to work effectively within a team environment.
