The primary objective of the Sport Development Coordinator is to facilitate the growth and development of Boccia at a grassroots level. This role will implement strategies and programs that promote participation, talent identification and athlete development. 

Key Accountabilities

Participation Development

• Understand the key drivers and focus areas of the BA Participation Strategy and ensure state based alignment for mutual outcomes
• Develop and implement a State based participation plan that aligns with the BA Participation Strategy outcomes
• Represent and deliver Boccia at multi-sport events, school sport inclusion days and come & try activations
• Connect with external organisations for the promotion of boccia and support the delivery of new programs within their structure and/or facilities
