The Los Angeles Lakers are seeking a Social Media Intern to join the Integrated Marketing team. This role reports to the Manager, Social Media and assists with the day-to-day social media channel management across all Lakers owned channels. This role works closely with the full integrated marketing team  in the planning, creation, and execution of content that can be leveraged across channels to engage fans and bring new consumers into the Lakers brand. 

The Los Angeles Lakers Internship Program is a season long paid internship that enhances students’ experience by bridging the gap between the academic environment and a future work environment. Interns learn the business of basketball off the court and behind the scenes through department assignments, special events and professional development opportunities. Interns will participate in learning sessions geared towards enhancement of business skills and understanding of day to day business operations, including guest speaker sessions, networking opportunities, and resume preparation courses.
