The Jacksonville Jaguars are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team. This position will assist with day-to-day accounting functions, which include but are not limited to: accounts receivables, cash posting, journal entries, transaction research, month-end close, fluctuation analysis and financial reporting.  The ideal candidate must be reliable, have a keen eye for detail, exhibit a commitment to excellence, and be comfortable taking initiative.
 
Job Responsibilities

• Record monthly journal entries as part of the month-end close process, including revenue recognition, related-party transactions, and accruals
• Perform full cycle sponsorship or ticketing accounts receivable functions to include invoicing, payment research, and subledger to general ledger reconciliations
• Perform full cycle treasury functions to include credit card payments or wire requests, check deposits, and preparation of bank reconciliations
• Ensure that balance sheet accounts are accurately stated and reconciled to the general ledger.  Research variances, determine root causes, and make adjusting entries when applicable
