We are searching for a highly self-motivated individual to help guide and deliver our vision of creating great experiences through swim, bike, run.
The Regional Development Manager for Yorkshire and Humberside will lead the development of swim, bike, run, and Triathlon across the region. Responsible for the development and delivery of the Regional Plan, working collaboratively with the Regional Committee as well as the wider development team across British Triathlon to drive growth and development across the geographical region.
This is an exciting and far-reaching role, and the candidate will use their proven track record to seek out new opportunities to help us grow our sport through innovative participation programmes. They will play an integral role in supporting our clubs to be at the centre of our work and will have a natural talent for developing effective relationships.
As a core function of the role, the successful candidate will be leading the delivery of our place-based approach in the communities which sit within the region. Critical to the role therefore will be the ability to drive asset-based community development work and to be able to forge strong and meaningful relationships with Local Authorities, Active Partnerships and Community Organisations. The successful candidate will need to have a strong knowledge and understanding of the community sport and physical activity landscape at local and regional levels. They will also need to be adept at partnership working and collaboration; very much having this as an in-built preferred way of working. The role is also the key point of contact for clubs within the region, supporting and driving club development and support.
