Surrey County Cricket Club is committed to making sure cricket is a game for everyone. We believe that cricket should be based on the concepts of fair play, teamwork, and meritocracy and we know that there is work to do to make cricket truly accessible. We are looking for people to join us on the journey of handing cricket over to future generations as the most inclusive and diverse sport in the world.
The Position
This is a new role with three key areas of responsibility:
1. Developing and delivering revenue-generating cricket coaching programmes. 2. Leading the Foundation’s Disability Development Programme.
3. Leading the Foundation’s work to increase participation amongst women and girls.
Building on the SCF’s existing Pride of Lions programme, and other paid-for coaching offers, create a comprehensive new programme with two complimentary objectives; to raise the standard of cricket in Surrey by providing training courses for young people that are looking to improve their skills, and to generate revenue for Surrey Cricket Foundation that can be used to fund our various community programmes that are provided to participants for free. The Manager will have line management responsibility for a coordinator who will support the ongoing delivery of these training courses.
