Basildon and Phoenix Swimming Club based at Basildon Sporting Village in Essex is seeking a Performance Swimming Coach. In this role, the successful candidate will aid the club to support and continue to inspire swimmers to reach their goals.

Basildon and Phoenix Swimming Club promotes the teaching, development and practice of competitive swimming in the South Essex area. The club has a recent history of success at county, regional, national and international levels.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication, motivation and feedback skills, alongside the ability to positively inspire confidence and motivate swimmers to reach their potential.

Candidates should possess a passion for swimming and a desire to contribute to the development of the club and its performance successes. The ideal candidate will hold a Swim England Senior Swimming Coach Certificate or an ASA Level 3 Coaching Award. We will also consider applications from someone who holds a Swimming Coach Certificate/Level 2 Award, has some experience working within a competitive club environment, and is willing to further their coaching qualifications.

Basildon and Phoenix Swimming Club is a SwimMark-accredited club and is committed to safeguarding all our members. The successful candidate will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check and must have or attend the UK coaching Safeguarding and Protecting Children course.
