Olympic Head Coach, Beach Sprints - British Rowing
British Rowing is seeking an inspirational leader and high performance coach to guide its Beach Sprints Programme to Olympic success at LA2028 and beyond.
Beach Sprints is an exciting new addition to the Olympic programme at LA2028 with 3 Olympic medal events on offer (CMix2x, CM1x, CW1x). Great Britain is looking to build on its successes to date within this emerging discipline. These include 10 medals across the 2023 and 2024 editions of the World Beach Sprint Finals.
This role will suit a high performing rowing coach with the vision and leadership expertise to evolve Great Britain’s current activity into a World Class Programme capable of delivering Olympic medals. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate substantial experience developing medal winning crews and a proven ability to lead a high performance programme with distinction. Alongside this it will be imperative for them to grow and evolve the ‘can do’ culture that has aided this discipline in thriving to date.
This opportunity will see the successful candidate join British Rowing’s select team of Olympic and Paralympic Head Coaches as they strive to maintain Great Britain’s status as a leading rowing nation at the 2028 and 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
