Position Purpose       

To develop Australian MTB XCO athletes through categorisation into independent professional domains.

Responsibilities         

The following responsibilities are indicative requirements of the role and are not intended to represent an exhaustive list of all requirements.

• In conjunction with the Director of Pathways design a strategy to facilitate the development of MTB XCO athletes with a focus on 2032 and beyond
• Provide leadership, support and guidance to coaches working with categorised MTB athletes to develop relevant coaching knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviors
• Coach nationally categorised MTB XCO athletes if/as requested, to enhance aptitude for training and racing, including engagement with HPN performance staff
• Collaborate with the Head Coach Endurance for the delivery of World Championships Teams.
