Following a successful Paris campaign and with the green and gold runway to Brisbane 2032, we have a rare and prestigious opportunity to join Swimming Australia as the National Head Coach - Paralympic Program!

The purpose of the High Performance Paralympic program is to cultivate world’s best Para Swimming daily performance environments, pathways, programs and people. The National Head Coach, Paralympic Program plays a crucial role in engaging a team who are excited by our audacious ambitions and aligned to our Values of Courage, Unity and Excellence.

We are looking globally for a passionate and highly motivated technical leader to join our team with the aspiration of leading our Paralympic Swimming team to world number one. This exciting opportunity is a Full Time position working in a hybrid model between the office, home and our programs across the country to support flexibility, ideally based from Queensland.

About the role:

Reporting to the General Manager Paralympic Program, the principal duties of this role include:

  • Shape the values and behaviours of athlete centred performance environments, that provides continuous and progressive accountability to win when it matters the most.
  • Establish and articulate data-informed performance standards and technical direction that ensures repeatable, sustainable success at the highest international level.
