As part of the Medical Department, the Minor League Athletic Trainer provides the prevention, care, treatment and rehabilitation, under the supervision of a licensed physician, for all athletic injuries and illnesses incurred by Milwaukee Brewer minor league players. Provides open lines of communication between the minor league affiliate manager, coaches, Director – Player Health and MBBC front office personnel of all injuries and medical conditions of MBBC players at the affiliate.
Core duties for this role include, but are not limited to:          

• Under the MBBC policies, provide athletic training room rules and medical policies for players. Ensure copies of rules and policies are distributed to managers, coaches, and front office staff
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical information and medical files on players and staff in the MLB Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
• Assist in conditioning program set up by Strength & Conditioning Coach and/or Senior Coordinator - Minor League Strength & Conditioning.
