Join a team that is responsible for maintaining the buildings and structures of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway which plays host to the World's Largest Single-Day Sporting Event, the Indianapolis 500®. This full-time position will expose you to many different projects throughout the facility and offers an unmatched opportunity to be a part of the execution and operations of our events. You will get to experience and learn what it takes to prepare the track (oval and road course) for each event!

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

• With the Special Projects Sr. Manager and Maintenance Supervisor, provide support for Facilities Department.
• Track conversion, maintenance, and repair (belting, curbing, SAFER barrier, Styrofoam blocks, tarping, and tires).
• Ability to operate heavy equipment.
• Fabricate materials, including metals, wood, laminates, plastics, etc., as required.
• Apply temporary asphalt patch and concrete to areas, as necessary.
