The Head of Events (Mountain Bike and CX) is responsible for managing the development and delivery of AusCycling’s Mountain Bike and Cyclo-cross portfolio.

Working closely with colleagues across the Major Events, Marketing and Media, Commercial and Performance pillars, this position will support AusCycling’s commercial and pathways strategy; and will develop and strengthen our partnership and knowledge networks that enhance our strategic outcomes.

Responsibilities     

The Head of Events (Mountain Bike & Cyclo-cross) will lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of AusCycling’s Mountain Bike and CX program. 

Events

• Lead the Mountain Bike event delivery team – staff, commissaires & volunteers.
• Lead the planning of the BMX calendar for International, National, State and Territory events.
• Develop, delivery and review annual event operations plans and budgets for Oceania, National Championships and National Series.
• Manage key partner and supplier relationships.
