Head Coach, Women’s Hockey High-Performance Program - Hockey Queensland
Hockey Queensland (HQ) is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to step into the role of Head Coach – Women’s High-Performance Program. This is a critical position that will develop elite athletes through a world-class Daily Training Environment (DTE), delivering programs that align with Hockey Australia’s National Pathway framework and ensuring Queensland athletes meet national selection benchmarks
About the Role
The primary responsibility of the Head Coach is the delivery of a technical, skill-focused, and athlete-centred High-Performance DTE. You’ll work collaboratively with Hockey Australia (HA) and Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) teams to ensure national performance standards are achieved.
While coaching involvement with State Teams (U18/U21) or the Brisbane Blaze in the Hockey One League is part of the role, it must complement and enhance the overarching Pathway program priorities. Ensuring the daily training environment delivers individual technical and skill development according to national frameworks will always be the key focus.
