The Head Athletic Trainer/Physical Therapist (Head AT/PT) is responsible for supporting the health, wellness, and rehabilitation efforts for the Washington Mystics. This role involves providing on-court and sideline care, including emergency action planning (EAP) and concussion protocols; and support in injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and return-to-play strategies, ensuring comprehensive, high-performance athlete care. This position reports directly to the Director of Physical Health & Performance, collaborating closely with the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach, team physicians, and sports science staff to ensure a broad approach to player health and performance.
