The Facility Operator will be responsible for the Kraken Training Center Ice and Facility Maintenance. This position is responsible for driving and maintaining the Zamboni and Ice edger machines as well as opening and/or closing the building, maintaining cleanliness of locker, restrooms and public areas and sharping rental skates. Works with the Operations Director and Operations Manager to ensure a great experience for all patrons. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintains strict Ice Schedule. 
• Keeps constant records and logs for, but not limited to, Compressors, Ice Temperature, and Ice thickness. 
• Responsible for flooding, edging, shaving/building ice service as deemed necessary by Operations Manager. 
• Helps keep back-of-house areas clean and organized so the Zamboni has access on/off the ice. 
• Assure all gates are closed before resurfacing operations.   
• Cleaning of glass and dashers, when possible, inside and out.
