The role of Director Management Accounting and Finance Strategy is pivotal to the strategic financial stewardship of the Australian Sports Commission (ASC). This position demands a forward-thinking leader with a deep understanding of finance and strategy, a strong ability to drive transformation, and a passion for building financial capability across the organisation. Working closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and other key stakeholders, the role champions initiatives that enhance financial sustainability, operational efficiency, and value creation. 

As a leader of the Management Accounting and Finance Strategy branch, this role ensures the overall integrity of the ASC’s internal and external budget allocations, capital allocations and financial position, drives process improvements and innovative solutions, and delivers impactful insights that support strategic decision-making.
