Club & Workforce Development Officer - Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation
The Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation is responsible for all recreational and community cricket in Gloucestershire and Bristol. Our mission is to improve lives through the power of cricket by getting bats and balls into more people’s hands. We aim to achieve this by creating, developing, and delivering fun, safe, inclusive cricket activities for people of all abilities and backgrounds.
To truly support our club’s network, we are looking for a dynamic individual to grow, develop and inspire our cricket volunteers in Gloucestershire. With the huge growth of cricket that mainly takes place at clubs, this role will be a key cog to ensure volunteers, coaches, officials, and groundskeepers are empowered and supported to enable this growth and build true sustainability.
The scope of this role will include, but not be limited to: • Creating role models who are capable of inspiring people both on and off the field. • Grow the number of active coaches across the County of Gloucestershire. • Support the Gloucestershire Association of Cricket Officials (GACO). • Support the Gloucestershire Grounds Association, to enhance club facilities in Gloucestershire. • Create and develop a CPD programme, designed to support coaches, teachers, and club volunteers.
