Camera Operator & Press Box Staff will start during the spring semester (early April) and run through the end of the baseball season (September). Training will be given during the month of March. The baseball season officially begins in April where staff are expected to work most home games through September. Games are played on nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work most Friday and Saturday games is expected.
 
Press Box Staff:
Press Box Staff work cooperatively as a part of the Lake County Captains in-game entertainment staff. Individuals have the opportunity to rotate and learn different positions. 6-8 positions are available.
 
Positions include:
Switcher/Technical Director – The Switcher is directly responsible for the operation of the switcher during all elements of the game. They will call for shots and direct camera operators.
Video Camera Operator - Responsible for the operation of the Lake County Captains video camera before and during the games. This includes live game action, in-game contests, and crowd shots.
