A member of the Equestrian Australia High Performance department, the Athlete Wellbeing and Engagement Manager will be responsible for facilitating and leading the development of a comprehensive wellbeing strategy and implementation framework specific to an Equestrian high-performance context. This work will include establishing a range of approaches of wellbeing services and support, articulating connected design principles to guide implementation for outcomes in bespoke environments, and situate wellbeing beyond a narrow service delivery model. The role is responsible for delivering associated services designed to improve an athletes’ ability to thrive and to effectively navigate the critical transition points throughout and beyond their sporting career, and also supports an aligned National system of wellbeing partnerships to meet the needs of athletes, coaches and performance staff.
