The Lake Erie Crushers are searching for a 2025 Baseball In-game Tagging and Pitching Metrics Intern. This is an UNPAID Internship and candidates are REQUIRED to receive college credit to qualify for this position. Candidates MUST be able to provide their own housing, transportation to and from the stadium, AS WELL AS their own computer.

The In-game Tagging and Pitching Metrics Intern will assist the Baseball Analytics Coordinator in the collection and cleansing of Trackman data, focusing on pitching metrics. These pitching metrics include, but are not limited to, pitch type, velocity, spin rate, vertical break, induced vertical break, horizontal break, tilt, and extension. The In-game Tagging and Pitching Metrics Intern will be involved in a brand new Baseball Analytics Department, facilitating the collection, uploading, and storage of Yakkertech data on all Frontier League teams. This individual will work with the Crushers’ Baseball Analytics Coordinator and the Baseball Hitting Metrics Intern in helping the players reach their full potential and ensuring that the Baseball Analytics Department has accurate and timely data.
