Reporting to the Team Lead, Payroll, this role would be responsible for processing payrolls accurately, on a timely basis, while continuously looking to identify efficiencies. The Payroll Administrator would also assist with HRIS & Time & Attendance projects including development, reporting, and the implementation of new initiatives.
Core Responsibilities and Duties:
- Process Inter-provincial Canadian Salaried and Hourly full-cycle payroll (Bi-weekly)
- Process new hires, terminations, leaves, employee changes (address, dependents, and bank information), pay rate changes, promotions, transfers, misc. deductions, commissions, bonuses, benefit changes and submit ROE’s.
- Verify time data from Time and Attendance system and import hours into Payroll Software
- Calculate and verify each payroll, create employee files, save pay period back up documentation and general filing of employee information
